Looks like there will be more time to surf for porn on the web for Coach Perv!
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

National Football Post? Never heard of it.
Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

          WooooooooOOOOOOO!

I think Grimm is to blame a bit here. We drafted to much mediocre OLIne talent over the last couple of years. And then the Perv tried to change them into what they are not.

It's time to start being honest about personnel. Most are just not that good. And the great one covers their flaws.

How come none of the national outlets are reporting this? Don't see it on SI, ESPN, CBSSports, or Post Gazette.

The ax has fallen on one in Pittsburgh.

A league source tells the National Football Post that Steelers offensive line coach Larry Zierlein has been fired.

Zierlein coached the offensive line for the last three seasons following the departure of Russ Grimm to the Arizona Cardinals, and the Steelers have had a host of issues blocking in the running and passing games. Now, coach Mike Tomlin will set out to find a solution.

Seems NFL.com has the story as well.

Unfortunately, this may keep Arians from being on the chopping block. I hope not.

                    KEEP SWINGING THAT AXE, MIKE!

I think that the offensive line played much better this year, but I'm not sorry to see him go.

I think that Starks, Kemo and Colon (never thought I'd say that) are good enough. Essex and Hartwig weren't terrible, but I think the line could use a real nasty, mauler type at C and/or RG.

They need to find at least one tackle who can consistently shut down the outside pass rush. At least that way Ben will know which side he has as an escape route.

These last couple years have been a pick-your-poison kinda situation for him anytime there are speed rushers lined up outside.

Not a Starks fan, but I have to admit that he was very good this year. With the exception of the Green Bay game, he played well. I wouldn't say he's an all pro, but certainly he was solid.

His name is Kraig Urbik. Trai Essex = backup.
