Very well written and totally in-line with many observations on this board. Here's the segment that best illustrates Arians' stubbornness ...

Arians’ offense put up great numbers ... in the sunshine of Miami. But back in Cleveland, where the season was lost, Arians had called 42 pass plays and only 20 runs in zero-degree weather with 30-35 mph winds gusting over 40 mph. The protective Pittsburgh media blasted the effort of the Steelers instead of Arians’ ridiculous game plan as the season died on the vine.

Wex may lurk on this board occassionally for all that we know. He used to be a regular poster over on the Trib board several years ago.

So I can take it that Wex is not feltdizz.

Unless there is some kind of alter-ego, good-cop bad-cop thing going on here. :P

im really on the fence about BA. yeah at times some of his play calls are poor like holmes throwing a deep ball right after you get the ball in miami territory, but all OC's can call poor plays at the wrong time. the browns game the game plan pretty much sucked but i blame all of the staff and players for that poor showing. if they ran the ball in that game then we could of moved the ball. the o-line looked awful, mendy looked awful and the entire team looked awful. i dont know how you blame anyone on the offensive side of the ball for this season. just about every loss was on the defense. after a season like this people just want to put the blame on one coach or player. the fact is it wont be an easy fix. if we have a new OC next season and dont address the defense then we will have the same result.
