    Spygate

So what is everyone's feeling about spygate. I think they just wanted to get it behind them and let it be forgotten. Everyone else?

I think we should strap Belicheat to a horse and drag him naked through the pot holed filled streets of Pittsburgh.
    Trolls are people too.

I think that nothing will come out of it. It seems that everybody wants to sweep it under the rug. As Cowher would have put it.... "It is what is." Do I like it?... I friggen hate the Patriots more than any other team in the league, including the Cowboys and Browns. I hope the "governmental" investigation is more in depth and possibly leads to more penalties, but doubtful. As far as Goodell, he's useless and hypocritical. But knowledge is power and now that we are aware of the problem that is supposedly pandemic in the league, we'll be more mindful of such antics.

Retrospectively, we can't change the past and I'm big on lengthening my life.... part of that process is not worrying about things that 1) absolutely enrages me and 2) have no control over. This is where I have stashed this whole episode and look forward to this season, and though we have some faulty issues of our own with our team, we at least have nothing to be ashamed of in our history. We have nothing to mar our achievements and we can banter with other fans without being defensive about transgressions made by our ego maniacal HC.

      GO STEELERS!

Great post AS. As far as I'm concerned, they were caught, punished, and now are stained for all eternity. Yeah, I would have liked to have seen Belichick get suspended, but I'm real fond of that same "Cohwer-ism" you quoted, and it is what it is...everyone needs to get over it.

I just hope this freakin' issue dies before camp and pre-season.... I can't even turn on ESPN because it's the only thing they're talking about.... Unless there is some "earth shattering" change, I'd like to watch my highlights in the morning without hearing about it...

I have a feeling ESPN is going to be reluctant to let this go now that Tom Brady has pretty much called them out for keeping this story going. I guess the feel now if you are going to make us look bad why not return the favor.

I can't even watch ESPN anymore. It has nothing but crap on it. Even ESPNEWS is hard to watch now. It turned into the MTV of Sports networks. We will make a second network so we can make our own show on this network... All I want is a good SPORTS HIGHLIGHT SHOW DAMN IT!!!

It seems like the only time I watch ESPN is when they have a football game on. Other then that I get my news from the internet. At least there I can filter through the New England lovefest to get to what is important.

That's exactly what I was thinking LVG and I hope we're right.

And I don't want this spygate to die. That's exactly what Goodell wants to happen.
