    I BELIEVE...

    in this team.....

    Despite everything.... the defenses failures in the 4th quarter , the offenses Jekyl & Hyde routine and the absolute piss poor special teams.

    I BELIEVE.

    Sure the cards are stacked against us to make the playoffs this year but do you really think if we sneak in that we aren't the most dangerous team anybody would play. The playoffs would be a "new" season , just what the players truly need in my opinion. A chance to wipe the slate clean and seize an opportunity that I just can't see the veterans on this team not capitalizing on.

    I BELIEVE.

    Talk about an uber talented team , many of which with multiple rings , playing with nothing to lose. If you think for one second that Manning,Brady,Palmer etc. wouldn't dread seeing us in the playoffs then well , your stupid.

    The simple fact is we are probably the most talented underachieving team in a single season in league history.

    I BELIEVE.

    Now if the 50 some men in that locker room start to believe as well.....

    WE CAN DO THIS !!!!!

      Good post. You are right, maybe you could go speak to the 50 men in the locker room and make them believe. I really think it is their attitude as many have said. The hunger is gone. I hope they get it back by Thursday night!

          Imagine how friggin cool that would be to give a pre-game speech to the team !!!!

          Anyway....

          Even if we do sneak in I fully expect it to be on the back of some underwhelming performances that we just happen to squeak out and yes we'll need some help as well. However I truly believe this team would absolutely do a complete 360 in regards to attitude and desire if we made it in. It's almost as though this team needs that lose and you go home type game with a big shiny ring dangling in the foreground to motivate them.

          Sad , but it is what it is for these 2009 Steelers.

                  We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

                  We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

                          if we win out than i say we are in because the jets will lose once, and either the jags or yoncos will lose twice....
