I've said it before and I'll say it again. The 3-4 was fine through 3 quarters (held them to a couple of FG's). Then in the 4th, the other team stops trying to run, we try to defend the pass with glorified prevent cover 2 defense, and the D gets shredded. In all of these games where teams are coming back against us, it is not our regular base defensive formation that it letting us down.
We didn't stop playing the 3-4 in the 4th Quarter of any game and switch to a 4-3. It has been our 3-4 defense that has been routinely getting their butts kicked late in games. Same personnel, same scheme. We play variations of the Cover 2 all game long.

If LeBeau is not making adjustments then shame on him.
We aren't running a 3-4 or a 4-3 late in the game. It is nickel or dime defenses with soft zones and no semblence of a pass rush that are killing us. When our front 7 is in the game in a 3-4 formation, they are fine.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I'd like to see Sweed see some of Wallace's reps, he's been a non-factor for a few weeks now.

The AP reported that Hines is expected to miss the game with a hamstring

As for Sweed, I'm curious to see how he plays as the 3WR. He should get plenty of opportunities. I want to see him get into a rhythm and start catching the easy ones...

I think they intend to keep Clark in. It is my understanding that this meant that Mundy would take the place of Carter (in Troy's spot until Polamalu gets healthy again).

          I agree with it all.

Out of curiosity, during Cowher's tenure did he ever make this many changes at one time? I don't remember anything like this...but my memory is teh suck.

          I like Wallace. I think he's been a damn good #3 IMO.

            Mass changes?

Well, the fat lady has sung then.

Chadman is happy we get to see what the young guys can do. The next couple of weekd determine the draft targets in April, and the FA moves in March..
