Game was really lost on 17 yard play on 3rd and 22...

rookie QB that was eventually gonna make a mistake. You couldn't let them get even close to consider going for it on 4th.

It was a matter of time, and Dixon was showing signs of making a mistake late in the game.

It was that moment that decided the game IMHO.

agree completely. 3rd and 22 and they end up on the 8 yard line to tie the game. THAT is where we lost the game.

Way too soft on 3rd & 22. Even 5 yards less soft and they would have to punt it, but even that would have been too soft.

NO, don't you guys know, it was all Bruce Arians fault. The defense had no culpability in this loss. Arians took a QB that hadn't played a meaningful game of football since college and had the lead with 6 minutes to go in the game, it's his fault the defense couldn't play a little better on 3rd and 22.

Steelers have lost all the games because Big Ben does not throw much to Running Backs.

Steelers D is No.1 even though they have surrendered lead in 4th Q in 4 games this season and its all Bruce Arians fault.

I don't think anyone is pinning this loss solely on Arians, but there is certainly culpability on both sides of the ball and it is obvious that Arians deserves some of the blame.

The culpability on the offense in this game is minimal. If you give the #1 rated defense the lead with 6 minutes to go in the game playing with a QB that hasn't played in a meaningful game since he was in college, you should win the game, end of story, IMHO.

FWIW, Tomlin admitted as much that they were trying to protect Dixon as much as possible.

Unfortunately, this was a return to the Steelers of yesteryear, where the D had to stand up and win the game.

This is something they have not been able to do 4 of the 5 times they had a lead in the 4th Quarter (it was a stat shown on NBC tonight when it was 3 out of 4).

Did you see Dixon with the quick checkdown to Mend and he broke a tackle and rambled 22 yards? LOL!!!

                    That was great..

but I agree.. it's all Arians fault.. once again he went and got the lead late.. what was he thinking?
