Perhaps he hit them with Heatmiser gang sings.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Of all the things wrong with that picture, the watch he is wearing is the least of his worries.

Excellent point. I was just trying to be that cool guy that notices the most obscure things in a message board photo to prove how observant I am

            Reed apologizes to teammates
            Associated Press
            Updated: October 21, 2009, 2:50 PM ET

PITTSBURGH -- Steelers kicker Jeff Reed has apologized to his teammates, saying he didn't mean to cause a distraction by getting involved in a run-in with Pittsburgh police several hours after kicking two field goals against Cleveland.

The incident was the second involving Reed this year and led to meetings with team president Art Rooney II, director of football operations Kevin Colbert and coach Mike Tomlin, none of whom was pleased with Reed's actions.

The NFL is investigating Reed's latest off-field problem, in which he was cited for simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after allegedly scuffling with Pittsburgh police officers outside a bar near Heinz Field. The incident happened several hours after the Steelers (4-2) beat the Browns 27-14 on Sunday.

Reed expects the investigation to take some time, but said Wednesday he is certain he won't be suspended. He also said he told his agent, Don Henderson, not to comment on the case. Henderson has said Reed will fight the charges.

Reed also said he was disappointed he drew attention away from the Steelers' important game Sunday against unbeaten Minnesota (6-0).

True that you can't bench him. Benching hurts the team and management more than anyone. Make him donate a gamecheck or half a gamecheck to some charity. Make him sit in some alcohol class every Tuesday night for a month. Those 2 things are FAR more painful than actually sitting in the press box for a game. Heck, he only does like 10 kicks a game max, so its not like being benched will alter him much. Take his cash and free time. And leave the team intact on gameday.
