    Big Ben hits the town....

Ok so I live about 5 minutes outside Wilkes-Barre , Pa. where Ben just hosted Monday Night Raw. I didn't attend as I can't stand wrestling but I watched some clips online and Ben was pretty funny , and having the O-line there was a neat idea. Anyway , across the street from the arena where MNR was held is a strip club called G-CLUB 10.

A woman I work with just told me that her good friends husband bounces up at the strip club and that Ben and the O-line all were at the club until about 4am that night partying. The bouncers wife is a huge Steelers fan so when they guys showed up he called her to come down. I guess Ben had graciously declined some photos and autographs as he was busy dancing with girls and partying with the guys but the bouncers wife introduced herself and because Ben and the guys had chatted it up with the bouncer throughout the night he obliged her with a picture outside his limo and an autograph.

According to the bouncer and his wife , all the guys were extremely nice to the girls and staff , brought like 5 coolers of beer (BYOB club) , and tipped BIG. Apparently that night was a special one as they had several shower scenes on stage. One of the dancers was put up for "bid" after her scene to do a 10 minute private dance , top price was $100 and whoever offered it first got the dancers time. Apparently Ben waited until several people in the club made their offers and he stands up and says " I've got 5 bills for her ! ", and was promptly escorted to the back for his private dance !

Like I said , according to all parties involved , Ben and the lineman were all very gracious and behaved themselves (as much as you can at a strip joint I guess) , and even cleaned up their mess when the night ended.

What a man's man Big Ben is , goes from the big tough QB playing lights out on national television on the field Sunday leading us to victory to hosting Raw on Monday , hit's the club up with the big guys later that evening , to helping out an auto accident victim in Pittsburgh Friday !

Yup...I'm in NEPA too (Clarks Summit...although I work in Wilkes-Barre).

It would have been odd if word got out that Ben and the o-line were going to be at this club in advance. Then you'd have rabid Steeler fans showing up to ogle the players instead of the dancers.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Re: Big Ben hits the town....

This is a bit off topic, but talks to what kind of person Ben is. I am glad this story was told, because I know some of the stuff we hear abotu Ben.

My wife put on her facebook page that we were headed up to Detroit to catch the Steelers game on Sunday. A friend of my her's posted that she was hanging out with a few members of Ben's family in Ohio or something. I really have no idea what her connection to them is. My wife commented how lucky she was and said to tell them Go Steelers, and she replied somethign to the fact that the family member, Ben's uncle or something, was the one of the nicest guys she ever met, but that Ben is a complete jerk.

Here's my beef, and I think we have been down this road before . . . people like Ben are obviously in the public eye, so they are hounded everywhere they go. At some point, polilely declining autograph and photo requests isn't enough. You have to get stern on the fifth try with some people. But this is the rep that Ben gets, and it drives me nuts. No one ever tells stories like this one, or Ben's propensity to donate to charities, just his "off times" in public when the autograph seekers don't get what they want. Now, I wouldn't use a strip club reference in defending Ben, for obvious reasons, , but I wish people would stop judging the dude based on limited knowlege.

        Stepping off soapbox, rant over.

Big Ben is 27, single and 100 million dollar man...i don't see any issues going to a strip club as long as that club is not shady...

I agree that I don't have issue with Ben living his life, but strip club~~not shady. That's a hard argument to make.

I've got to agree with this. Doesn't give the appearance that BB understands the gravity
                    of the case that's pending.

If he paid the stripper $500 for a lap dance, and then asked her if she knew how to fix a television, then there might be a problem.

The funny thing Ruth...There are some girls in this area that would have said "Of course I do!" and showed up at Ben's door wearing "dickies" & a tool belt she pulled out of her 1998 Ford F-150!!!

This was my first thought. Although going to a strip club has no bearing on the case, if word of something like that leaks out, it can have a big impact in the court of public opinion.

I live local to the Arena and work in Wilkes Barre. I actually heard this from "word of mouth" around the area. I don't have a video to put on Youtube but I would say Ben was at the club. I heard through "friend of friends" that some of the OL (Don't know who.) where outside talking to bouncers and strippers having cigarettes early in the morning. They were asking for places that were still open to eat. My Fiance's friend works at the Arena and said they had to take beverages to WWE workers & said they saw/met 2 steelers. Judging by the description she gave me it was Colon and Stapleton. Unfortunately, her husband is a Cowboys fan so she didn't have a clue.
