    Steelers @ Lions Prediction Thread

    Not a lot of need for analysis here. Detroit is awful on defense, ranking 21st overall (20th run, 25th pass) so if Arians keeps his foot on the pedal we should tear them up by air AND by ground. The Lions are also very balanced, ranking 20th overall offensively (18th run, 17th pass). Stafford likely will not play so we could be seeing the long washed up Culpepper doing his best impression of a statue at QB. Should be a feast in the making for our D.

    Seriously, this one should be over by half time.

          If we don't revert back to Turtle Ball, I say the score will be...

          Lions 7

          Lions will not be able to run the ball, and with Daunte Can't-pepper in the game Detroits scoring chances will be low.

                                      Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

                                      We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

                                                  Steelers win this one big! Detroit just doesn't have the horses or hogmollies to keep up in this one! Lions will fall down big early and the second half will be cruise control.
