Re: John Kuhn
In other former Steeler news, Byron Leftwich has been demoted to second string. Josh Johnson is the new starter in Tampa (not the rookie 1st round pick Josh Freeman...the other Josh).Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.Comment

Rodgers has been running for his life in all 3 games. I don't necessarily think their OL is that much betterOriginally posted by stlrz dGB Oline > Steelers Oline

Maybe, but I will argue that whoever their OC is, he has to be better than ours.Steel City Mafia

Re: John Kuhn
I'm not so sure that GB's OL is better than ours. In fact, ours is better.
Here's an interesting idea since this thread is devoted to Kuhn and RB's.
Our old buddy Najeh Davenport is a FA. Listed at 247lbs, maybe we could find room for him on the active 53 man roster again for goalline situations. He does have the instinct to find the endzone as he has 13 career rushing TD's. He could take the place of Frank the Tank, who has been a bust. Just a thought.......

Re: John Kuhn
I heard that Lefty actually got bumped to #3, with Freeman the new #2. I understand Lefty wanting the starting opportunity, but it is a shame for Lefty and the Steelers that things worked out this way. I'm not a huge Lefty fan, but I think he would have been the best possible #2 for the Steelers this year.Originally posted by RuthlessBurgherIn other former Steeler news, Byron Leftwich has been demoted to second string.
