    Steelers @ Bengals Prediction Thread

This one doesn't require a ton of breakdown.

Ike has a stellar track record of shutting down Chad Johnson...and that should continue with Ochocinco.

Cedric Benson isn't running on us like he did on the Packers.

I have faith in scheme master LeBeau to come up with a way to protect the middle of the field from short passes better...perhaps Timmons is healthier and can help in that area?

Ben pwns the state of Ohio.

    Steelers - 24
    Bengals - 16

The Bengals are due to win for the first in years. Ben's bubble is due to be broken. They are playing with confidence and we are playing sloppy. Of course I'm hoping the Steelers win, but I'm predicting the Bengals in an upset.

      Here's to hoping I'm wrong.

I'm predicting the offense breaks out of it's doldrums and hits some big plays. The bengals get some junk points late and bolster CPs stats.

        38-20 Steeler Victory

As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.

        but Go Steelers!!!

Oddly enough I don't see this one as a high scorer. Their D has played better and our O hasn't been on track. Our D is fantastic anyway, thus I'm seeing little scoring.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

The Steelers D hasn't played well since the 1st half of the Super Bowl. At least to their standards. Teams are starting to figure out their tendencies. And it's only 20 points. Not too bad these days.

We are still a top 10 defense (and a top 5 scoring defense). Their defense is improving, but it is still not to our level.

Our offense played 2 tough defenses (one of which was in a rainstorm), while their offense played 2 teams that are trying to convert to a 3-4 this year. And, still, we are ranked higher than they are in total offense (16th to 21st).

I predict that Chad is going to have to pick up his own teef off the field because Troy
won't be there to do it.
