    Re: Buffalo!!

Why even bother for a return in the first place, since the hands team was out there anticipating an onside kick? He caught the ball in the end zone, he should have just taken a knee. Dumb@$$.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Very sad that they blew it like that. Bills worked hard up to that point and deserved to win.

        My take on the game:

Brady was tentative in the pocket (until the last 2 minutes) but it doesn't look like he'll do a Palmer. If Pats play a team that can jam their WRs I think they can get Brady to play a bad game...he is all about timing.
Welker is not the same Welker of old. Alligator-armed at least one ball on a crossing pattern (Clark still ringing in his head??), didn't have the same shifty moves we are used to seeing. That said, I think I heard that he was hurt for a while in pre-season, so maybe not all the way back yet.

The ageless Matt Light is showing cracks in pass-pro.

Pats have same problem as the last few years. Ageing defense that simply ran out of gas at the end of the game. They have to hope the O puts a ton of points up so the D can coast in the second half.

One other point on the game. Van Pelt I think was calling offensive plays and he did an amazing job making Edwards look good. NE's D was befuddled the entire game (they never really did stop the Bills O). It will be interesting to see if the Bills can do it again later. Belichick is pretty difficult to out-coach twice in a season.

Honestly though, as much as I hate defending the Cheaters...look at the turnover on the defensive side of the ball. Anyone that loses four pretty key cogs (Harrison*, Bruschi, Vrabel and Seymour) then losing Mayo to injury...that is tough to overcome. I think they will struggle all season. Those guys obviously weren't in their prime, but still, its alot to overcome.

once they went up 11, i had a bad feeling the patsies would find a way and sure enough thanks to the gift from mcelvin they did.........and jaworski loved to see brady in that super slow motion, kind of disturbing to hear him gushing about it...

however, if mcelvin does not fumble that ball, than it is a great play on his part, he would have gotten the ball to the 30 and put the clock under the 2 minute warning, forcing the pats to use all their timeouts....but all for not
