    Fox Sports Power Rankings

Steelers are #1, but check out the comments:

"In the NFL's Parity Era, no team is perfect. The Steelers were suspect on the O-line for most of '08, must improve their red-zone offense (before the winning touchdown in the Super Bowl, the Steelers ran 13 red-zone plays, gaining just two yards) and need a new punter. But these are minor tweaks for a franchise ready for another title run in 2009.
COOL STAT: Big Ben engineered six game-winning fourth-quarter drives last season."

Who writes this stuff? Do they even have a clue that Sepulveda was injured last season?

its too time consuming and requires more effort to research an injured punter apparently.

Probably just meant something along the lines of "Berger and Ernster suck! They need improvement there for sure!" without realizing that the solution was there all along.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

The writer read the stat lines and called it a day.

I much prefer those writers who read this board before they write something!

Are you assuming that any of these guys have any real journalist. Most are hacks who are under constant pressure to generate volume to satisfy the 24/7 demands of internet media.

Journalism is dead in the internet age. Most of these guys are wannabes like MSM who are trying to turn the internet into a business to make a few bucks but aren't really subject matter experts on what they write.

He wasn't an expert on anything. He just knew how to manipulate statistics which were meaningless except to give him something to spout off about.

Sounds like the moron on the Rats board who points to Santonio's times targeted vs. passes caught and said that the disparity shows that he can't create separation and/or find soft spots in the zone D. And that's the only reason. Never mind all the other reasons a WR may not catch a pass (you know, bad throw, double covered, intercepted, etc)...that is THE reason for Holmes.

Santonio sure sucked on that last drive in the Super Bowl.

Not to mention the fact that he scored a TD in all three of the wins against Baltimore last season.

Can't watch for news. Why would you expect to be able to read their football analysis? Whomever wrote the article probably doesn't even know who Sepulveda is..
