Steelers over the Cheaters in the AFC Championship and then another SB win would satisfy me as a Steelers fan for the rest of my life anymore SBs after this are just a bonus for me. That's how much I hate the Cheaters.
ours is not to wonder why just invert and multiply...

Plus a 14-2 record, Coach of the Year for Tomlin, and a second straight DPOY award for Harrison.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Pittsburgh has seen major contributions from third-year man Lawrence Timmons and second-year guy Bruce Davis
He might have ruined his credibility by adding Bruce Davis in there

No mention of knocking that Rats from the playoffs for a second straight year? That's perhaps the sweetest manna of all.

A season like this guy is describing would undoubtedly put this team in the conversation for greatest of all time. Back to back titles and 3 in 5 years along with all of the superlatives he mentioned would be hard to top...even for our legendary team of the 70's. Nice hype to read, but I'll settle for just a 7th Lombardi.

Two more in a row would definately do it...greatest of all time. There is a lot of work to do but its still within our reach. One this year puts us into team of the decade, esp if the AFCCG is over the *s.

I also like his take on Gruden.
I don't know if I have enjoyed anyone lately, as much as I have Gruden this preseason.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

Yeah, the only way Flacco makes the Pro Bowl is how Derek Anderson made it a few years ago (when the half-dozen or so QB's ahead of him declined the trip, making up an injury as an excuse).

My bold prediction: This year, Ben won't be in the Pro Bowl. Neither will James Harrison, Troy Polamalu, or any other Steeler. Why? Because the Pro Bowl will be in Miami the week before the Super Bowl instead of in Hawaii the week after the Super Bowl. Players who will be playing in the Super Bowl will not be eligible to play in the Pro Bowl due to the potential for injury with their championship game on the horizon.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
