Falconfan, WVSteeler, Neclams, Jigawatts and JAR were indeed the week's big winners with a total of 70 points secured by a calculated gamble that the Detroit Lions would finally win a game - however it wasn't enough to keep Ghost, who racked up a 60 point earning, from becoming the new leader!
**Unfortunately Ghost and Chadman's 60 points were in the Steelers v Cincinnati game. So while Ghost is in the lead - I promise you he's sick about it.
Talk about getting sick or a little quesy --- a total of 9 Execs found themselves with an open bar tab at the Goose Egg Lounge - Don't forget to tip your bartenders gentlemen.
Another glance at the leaderboard has me eyeing WVSteelers and Jar stalking the leader. That's usually a position that Ghost likes to take but instead could he be looking to go wire to wire in this thing --- never giving up the lead has never been done in MNF Exec?
Tell us Ghost - are you at all concerned with the annual MNF Exec free fall - or do you think this game is already over after 3 weeks?
The other exec I'm watching is the mysterious unpredicatable NeClams....what kind of Monday Night Mojo is he working?
Looking ahead you'll see most of us like either the New England v Baltimore, Green Bay / Minnesota match-ups or the San Diego v Pittsburgh game on Sunday Night. If one of these games fizzles it could certainly either tigheten up the leaderboard - or (unfortunately for us bottom dwellers) turn this game into a runaway train at the top that could become uncatchable for us in the bottom half.
One final reminder - next week is when team's win/loss records become part of the scoring process.
You're leader is in RED
Good Luck!
