"Zorro vs. Mr. October" - Browns QB Dilemma

Yesterday they were saying how that preseason game against the TItans was going to decide the whole salami.

Anyone heard anything about who was cursed enough to actually win that contest?

Oooh, I can't stand the suspense!

Local rags and radio think Quinn has the edge....dunno, because the few series I caught this preseason showed they both had their moments....and non-moments. Honestly, I don't see how our D would fear either one but they think Quinn has a little better accuracy. The fact that it is going to the 4th preseason game without a decision tells me the staff doesn't see a clear-cut winner.....
There is also talk that neither one will be on the team in a couple of years once Mangini completely installs 'his team'.

Zorro? Is that like "the gay blade of Zorro" as a reference to Quinn?

Not that there's anything wrong with that. Just basing it on the many photos posted in these fine forums over the years!

I think they have their hands tied with Quinn.

They have spent a good chunk on him to be a backup, plus with his would be escalators kicking in this year tied to playing time, if they don't pick him, that will be the rumor why.

And if Anderson stinks up the join, then those rumors could ruin their season.....well, if it isn't already ruined by that time.

Then the story will be money over winning, Mangini will be on an even hotter seat and the level of suck will continue for a few more decades.

They will pick Quinn. Count on it.

He can be counted on to do this by early to mid November. He's at his best before this, the only thing he has in common with Reggie Jackson, the original Mr. October
