    I think we will miss Clark bigtime. He is such a ferocious hitter that WR-TE-RB have to be crapping themselves when they know they are going across the middle.

    Wonder if Deshea will become our FS until we can draft one. Or will one of the younger players emerge....like Roy Lewis or Mundy or someone.

      Let us not write off Clark just yet. Even if we do not sign him in the next ten days does not mean that his time here is done. He can still be retained as a FA - something that this team loves to do, or be given a tag and return on a one year deal.

      I don't see any reason for the two sides not to settle this amicably.

        Same here- particularly Ryan Clark. Reed can be franchised for a fairly reasonable amount next year. Ryan Clark will get some fairly big offers in FA- that the Steelers are not likely to be able to match.


        Surprised that no one has mentioned that the FO seems to have a higher priority retaining Kiesel than Hampton.
        yeah, i noticed it as well...
        could this mean more 4-3 coming up??

        whatever it means... they certainly do not have a true replacement for 98 on the current roster- imo.
