    Bungles At it Again

    Will they never learn?

Bengals add depth, sign two TEs

CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati Bengals have made a move to stock their most depleted position, signing free-agent tight end Kolo Kapanui, who was released by the New Orleans Saints after an arrest.

Kapanui spent part of last year on the Saints' practice squad. He and receiver Biren Ealy were released in May after they were accused of exposing themselves to two women in the parking lot of an apartment complex where they lived.

The Bengals also signed tight end J.P. Foschi, who played 11 games with Oakland in 2005-06 and seven for Kansas City last year. He was waived by the Raiders on Saturday.

Starting tight end Reggie Kelly is out for the season after tearing his Achilles tendon, and backup Ben Utecht has been sidelined by a concussion.

If this franchise isn't already, they will become the laughing stock of the league.

They have been "laughing stocks" for most of the past 30 years except for 4-5 seasons where they accidentally did something right.

The Bumgals and the Raiders are clearly the worse two franchises in the NFL. No one else is even close to being as bad top to bottom as they are.
"My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"

At least Sanders didn't retire, then play for the Jets, then retire, then string the Vikings along, then retire again, then finally sign with the Vikings. There is still hope, Barry! You are only one year older than Favre! You've got 3 more retirements and comebacks in you, don't you?
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

It's still a mystery, Fezz. It seems to involve his dad somehow.

I remember in an interview with Barry they asked him what his father thought about him as a runningback. He said his dad said to him one time, " Jim Brown was better than you. "

I wonder if it was a joke by his dad or is his dad the type of person that, has to put their kids down, no matter what ?

For what it's worth, Jim Brown was better than Barry.

One of the greatest assets Brown had was the tremendous size he had to go along with his athleticism.

I'd argue that Barry Sanders could have been just as dominant in Brown's era but Brown wouldn't have been as dominant (due to the size of today's defenders) in this era. He still would have been good, but not as good as he was when he played RB weighing the same as the D linemen he faced back in his day. In my opinion.

Anybody see Hard Knocks tonight? Carson Palmer seemed to have a compulsion for smelling the back of his upper hand after taking snaps from his center.

There are some laughable moments in this years series, several ofthem on tonight's episode.
