Arians called in the winning play '62 Scat Flasher Z Level'

I had no idea Bruce Arians survived prostate cancer.
good read on BA's uplifting story...

Cancer survivor Arians on a roll

Found this nice little nugget in the article...

There was nothing crazy about the play — "62 Scat Flasher Z Level" — that Arians called in to quarterback Ben Roethlisberger with 42 seconds left in the Super Bowl.

Santonio Holmes was the third option on the play. Roethlisberger somehow found him.

"Probably the best throw I've ever seen," Arians said.

    How about the catch?

"The catch was good. 'Tone kept his toes down. But to fit the ball in that pigeonhole was unbelievable."

The same could be said for Arians' life these days.

    It's unbelievably good.
Woman: "Sir, what have you given us?"
Benjamin Franklin: "A Republic, madam, if you can keep it."

There were 43 seconds left when that play was called, not 42. I remember thinking "43 seconds left in Super Bowl 43...time to win it now."
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
