I am not an expert but his body language (i.e lack of eye contact) when he says he has never forced himself on any woman is a red flag for me. I would not be suprised if you see other women come out of the woodwork because of this case.

Just my gut feeling...could be wrong.
Other women come out of the woodwork?!?! Because he doesn't make eye contact with a d@mn videocamera when reading his prepared statement brings you to the conclusion that he is possibly a serial rapist???

It's not that he doesn't make eye contact it's also when he doesn't make eye contact. Like I said. it's my gut feeling based on what I know and the fact that this so called expert was found at a moments notice by WPXI in Pittsburgh that has no interest in getting onto Ben's bad side.

How do you know she was found on "a moment's notice" and what do you mean "based on what you know"?

You don't hate to rain on anyone's parade...GTFO with this stupid shiat!

By the way, body language is a VITAL component of public speaking...so now you know. do you feel smarter yet???

1) It was at a moments notice....they picked up the first person they could find locally.
http://www.actingforbusiness.com/

2) Alot of people are holding this "interview" with an "expert" as further evidence (ie...parading it around) that Ben is innocent. Therefore I am presenting them with insight that they may not have had about the qualifications of this expert.....and therefore RAINING ON THEIR PARADE!

Read the woman's biosketch:
http://www.hitresults.com/aboutsallychopping.htm

Nothing in there qualifies her. If she had some forensic or interrogation training I would value her opinion to a higher degree but she doesn't.

3) As a mater of fact, I am aware that body language is a vital part of public speaking, considering that it's an integral component of my profession as a scientist.

Yes, I think this woman is money grubbn' hence the lack of a criminal suit / investigation. I do also think it highly probable that he has put himself in similar situations with other women and now some of them are thinking....hummmm. Hopefully he counter sues and ends any ideas.

BTW, how many times do you think a 2x SB winning, 27 year old 105 Million Dollar man gets propositioned in one night out and multiply by many nights out? Now factor in a little alcohol on his side and pretty much unlimited "back rooms" for personal use and I think you can see that the probability of there being a misunderstanding on at least one occasion could occur. For regular guys like you and I, Chris Rock was right when he said there was no sex in the champagne room....that doesn't apply for people like Ben and he knows it...and so should the women who agree to go down that path. Most of them are probably just looking for fun and a story but some may be attempting as set up...it's that latter group that is worry-some and lurks in the woodwork.

P.S. I do feel smarter! Thanks.

I disagree with what you have to say. This whole thing will pass in a week or so. This girl is a psycho nut. Perhaps had you spent any time with women, you would know they tend to be head cases.

Sorry man, nothing in your first link shows that she was picked up "at a moments notice". And I think you're a bit biased against her credentials since you're a scientist and she doesn't have any forensics or interrogation training. I took a summer course in Drama once and a lot of the focus is on body language and body positioning...not just the hows of it, but also the whys. If she went to a top acting school then she's had quite a bit of training in body language...and a lot of experience after in her career.

I'm not so naive to think that Ben hasn't had his share of flings, but why would this nut job be opening the door for all of them to give it a go? How many other times have you heard of a pro athlete getting sued like this and then a ton of other women come out of the woodwork claiming the same thing, and then suing?

Do you think her attorneys could go toe-to-toe with the high $$ attorney's that Ben and Harrahs can afford?

I think I'll take her opinion over microbiosteel's opinion. Since neither know anything at all, other than how their gut feels, its a pointless thread.

My gut says he innocent and I'm hungry.

Ya know, I notice in the huddle Ben rarely made eye contact with the other players when he called the play. He seemed to be always looking at his wrist. Maybe he was lying to the players and calling the wrong play

I'm sorry but lack of eye contact in that situations doesn't mean squat. It only tells you something when the individual in question is in comfortable natural environment. Not when in front of the media reading a statement and wondering if everyone thinks you are a rapist.
As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.
