Photoshop Contest: City of Champions Edition

Most of the time that we do Photoshop Contests, the majority of the entries are aimed at getting the biggest laugh. I truly enjoy those types of contests, because we have a lot of sick, twisted minds among us, and I love that type of humor.

This time, however, I think it would be a good idea to put our Photoshopping skills to good use in order to display civic pride instead of ridiculing some clown like Ocho Cinco or Ray Ray.

In addition to being Steeler fans, many of us are also devout Penguin fans as well. And even if hockey is not your thing, you can certainly appeciate the accomplishments of all of those young guys in the early 20's who brought Lord Stanley's Cup back to the Burgh.

I'm sure with some of the Photoshopping skills several of you have (way better than me) that we could come up with some creations that could make for great board sigs or wallpaper backgrounds for our computers. You could incorporate the Lombardi Trophy and the Stanley Cup together in some way. Heinz Field, Mellon Arena, and the beautiful Pittsburgh skyline. Sid and Ben, Troy and Max, Fleury and Harrison, Geno and Santonio, Staal and Hines, etc. You might even decide to take a humorous stab at the sorry Pirates while you are at it. The possibilities are endless. Have fun with it, and enjoy this tremendous time to be a fan of Pittsburgh Sports!
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

    This is a good idea.

I will have to try to think of something as most of my talent lies in sophomoric humor.

Being a native Floridian, I have no civic pride for the great city of Pittsburgh and very little interest in hockey. As much as I've been looking forward to a new Photoshop contest, I'll watch you Pittsburghers from the sidelines on this one.

A photoshop contest was the perfect bait to lure Kage back...

Nice work, man! That's the kind of idea I was looking for.

Since I am not nearly as talented to create something of that magnitude, I had to go for the somewhat absurd instead...just because.

Hey newbie for this board, usually post over at TSF but after following the Dutch Wydo inspired link, I see you guys still have a photoshop contest going. I have considered starting one over there, but it wasn't exceptionally received so if its ok with this gang of miscreants (and I mean that in the best way of course!) I may jump in to these contests.

And I have started wearing deodorant since the trib closed down, so there you have it.

                      Later,
