Hopefully it works out, but it's going to be a little tougher because Mrs. Jigawatts won't
be there. I think she's actually going to be at some craft show in Miserable Ridge. She's
the good luck charm. Usually I never get through and for whatever reason she does.

But no worries. I'll be joining you as a season ticket holder in about 40 years when
construction is complete on WalMart Stadium of Pittsburgh.
By that time, every fan will be greeted at the gates with "Welcome to Costco, I love you."

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I can't see the image, but I assume you're referring to Idiocracy.

Or it could be Taco Bell Field since they won the franchise wars in Demolition Man.

        "All restaurants are Taco Bell."

And, yes, I was referring to Idiocracy. "Please come back when you can afford to make a purchase. Your kids are starving. Carl's Jr. believes that no child should go hungry. You are an unfit mother. Your children will be placed in the custody of Carl's Jr."

anyone know any decent hotels $ close by as well.
          comin in from jersey.
I drive from NY. I usually stay in Monroeville. Its about 20 min east of Pittsburgh, off I-76. There's a Courtyard, Hampton Inn, Extended Stay and the Monroeville Mall where the classic Dawn of the Dead was filmed.

I drive 5+ hours from NEPA, and we usually take I-80W, then I-79S. If we stay in the Pittsburgh area, which is rare...only if we have a Saturday night Penguins game followed by a Sunday afternoon Steelers game...there are some relatively cheap options around where I-79 meets I-279, and some of the least expensive options are out by the airport, which is even further west of the city (but not unreasonable). I've stayed downtown before, usually at the Hilton at the point, but that is more expensive (those are for the trips with the wife instead of the trips with my dad).

I drive from LI, so I'm south of 80. I checked out that route, but its longer than taking NJTP to 76. I stayed in Greentree once, but I like Monroeville now cause its east of Pit and in the Monroeville Mall is a Steelers sideline shop.

We stop at the Steelers sideline shop in the Grove City Outlets where I-79 and I-80 meet (Rachel's in Mercer near there is a nice place to eat too). There are more direct routes that we could take (we could get off I-80 at the exit for State College then drive through Altoona), but we prefer being on interstates the whole way instead of backroads. We could do a different all-highway route via I-81 and the PA turnpike, but then we would have to pay tolls, which are not an issue on I-80 and I-79.
