    Davenport

Just saw on NFLC where Sheftner stated the Steelers are looking too trade Najeh D.
    1. Who wants him?
    2. What do we get for him?

Maybe a 5th...If lucky! I think there will be no takers and he will be released.

I doubt anyone would trade anything for him? Especially if they think we'll just cut him?

In similar fashion, the Raiders are trying to trade Lamont Jordan. I doubt either of these guys will get traded. Why would they? Teams obviously know they are gonig to get cut to save some salary.

              Re: Davenport

              1. Send him to Chicago. Regardless of what they say, they really do need some veteran presence, and I think Najeh could probably beat out their Adrian Peterson or Garret Wolfe (probably Wolfe) to back up Forte.

              2. Get either a late round draft pick or possibly one of their glut of backup defensive players (preferably D-Lineman)

I'm sure Davenport would love the opportunity to play GB twice a year!

I'd trade Najeh, and throw in Mahan and Eason at no extra charge!!!
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

If the Bears or anybody would give up a 7th rounder or a pick to be named later....whatever! Send him packin. He might have a little value to someone as trade bait. Very little.

They will probably get a conditional draft pick based on the amount of playing time. Hopefully they can get a 5th or a 6th if they can trade him.
