    2 more visit the burgh...

2 more college prospects visit Steelers
    Wednesday, April 01, 2009
    By Ed Bouchette, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
Two more college football prospects are visiting the Steelers today: offensive tackle Phil Loadholt of Oklahoma and cornerback Joe Burnett of Central Florida.

Loadholt is 6-feet-8, 335 pounds. Burnett is 5-10, 192, and also returned kickoffs and punts for UCF.

More details in tomorrow's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Loadholt in the 2nd and Burnett in the 4th.

Just not sure that Loadholt has the feet to handle the speed rushers, I do think he's an upgrade over Colon though even with the question marks.

Burnett adds depth to CB and gets us the KR/PR we've been looking for.

I like what I've read about the Steelers visits so far. Burnett could make a lot of sense as a return option, as could the Wr they are bringing in.

From what I've read about Loadholt, he has some issues with speed rushers, but he has the ability to be dominant in the run game. Could be a good fit at RT.

I'd be in 7th heaven if we could pull that off.

I'd love to see this happen.

          1 Eben Britton RT
          2 Duke Robinson OG
          3 Macho Harris CB
          4 Sammie Lee Hill NT
          5 Mike Wallace WR
          5 AQ Shipley C

After that I wouldn't care. Get me a 34DE project out of the 6th and 7th rd picks and call it a day!

That is an excellent mock draft.

I bet Mike Wallace is a real 60 minute man!!

I'm talking about the one from Ol' Miss just to make sure we're on the same page. I don't think the one from 60 minutes has the 40 time we're looking for.

I think "60 Minutes" has nothing to do with the length of the show; it is actually referencing Mike Wallace's 40 time.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I was referrining to the fact that football is 60 minutes and Tomlin always stresses we play for 60 minutes..Hence 60 Minute Men... coupled with Mike Wallace being on the show 60 minutes....

                  Not too funny.
