This guy seems to have done just that.

MJG, I'll be curious to hear your thoughts on this.
As a Planet-Renowned PSU Homer, I feel the following:

-- I, generally, stop following PSU Players once they get into the pros if they are not part of the Steelers. I do see a line of demarcation. When someone becomes a Steeler, I am a fan of theirs - even if they are from a college team I despise such as Michigan or "The U". Likewise if a PSU player goes to an enemy team, I don't "pull" for them. Here are the exceptions:

A LONG time ago, when I first graduated from PSU, I followed some of the players that were in school with me and pulled for them (This was Curt Warner, Todd Blackledge days).
When PSU was having a run of succesful college RB that tanked at the pro level, I was pulling for PSU backs, just so it would not reflect badly on PSU and impact recruiting.

When I have lived in an area that had another pro team with PSU players (mainly Washington DC), I kind of followed and pulled for those players AS LONG AS IT DIDN'T IMPACT THE STEELERS.

There are a few instances with a player that I have a soft spot for or if a player gets on a hot streak (like LJ was a few years ago rushing), that I will kind of pull for them AS LONG AS IT DIDN'T IMPACT THE STEELERS.
    Dang dude, you are OLD!

Watch it, just watch it there Wolfie, Pitt class of 1980 here.

    Pappy
Broadmoor High School class of 1981.

Liberty University class of 1991 (hey, I was a late bloomer).

Were you hanging out with Eric Green down there? IIRC, we drafted Eric Green in the early 90's out of Liberty.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

He would have graduated in 1990 if he had not dropped out. Never went to one Liberty football game (Sam Rutigliano was our head coach at the time). I never met him, however, I did see EG at the 1990 graduation ceremony after he had been drafted by the Steelers. He was BMOC, literally.

        What could have been.
