I was about to put Donnie Shell into my LB list even though he was a safety. Remember he knocked Earl Campbell out of a critical game in 1978 when he had dominated the league all year? Broke his ribs.

To me, that was the one most memorable defensive play, (unless you'd consider Lambert's trashing of Cliff Harris off Gerela's FG miss in the SB) .... until James in this year's SB. Any video out there of Donnie "Torpedo" Shell's hit on Earl Campbell?
