    All we accomplished last season...

It just occurred to me the other day that aside from winning the SB, we did a heck of a lot more this year than just that. There were a number of things we accomplished, some small, some not so much:

    1. Won the division
    2. Beat the Ravens 3X!
    3. Got the Patriots*** monkey off our back
    4. Got the Jax monkey off our back.
    5. Stuck it to Alan Faneca by winning another SB
    6. Stuck it to Whiz and Grimm by beating them in the SB
    7. Made history by beating the ref-backed Chargers 11-10.
    8. Saw Ben become the leader in 4th quarter comebacks among current QB's.
    9. Defeated Arians' best efforts to undermine the team.
    10. Fielded probably the best Steelers defense since the Steel Curtain days of the 70's.
    11. Swept the division.

That's 10 off the top of my head. So in conclusion...wow, this was one of the best seasons in recent memory - crappy offense and all.

Anyone else have something to add?

Beating the Ravens to win the division was just classic for me, I didn't think we could beat that until we beat them to get in the SB. Personally I still don't feel closure with the whole beat down of the Pats, for me it would've been better with Brady in there. Hopefully we'll have an opportunity to knock them out of the playoffs this year (assuming they make it).
ours is not to wonder why just invert and multiply...

Agreed. I'll feel better once we beat the Pasterisks with Brady.

As it stands, though, we get to see New England and Indy beat up on Baltimore next season, while we get to beat up on Miami and Tennessee.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I will add......and you can include them if you wish:

              - Competed against one of the toughest schedules in the league, and the toughest on paper in recent memory

              - Overcame the mighty Browns who were pre season faves to win the division. It is funny to think back to August/September and remember all the writeups that had us predicted as either third or fourth in the North, while the Browns were the consensus champs.

And...Beating the Cowboys, finally beating the Chargers in the playoffs, swept the division and 1000 yards for Ward.

What's this "last season" stuff? Please let me linger, I'm still thinking of it as "this" season. Please don't take that away from me yet!

                    13. Broke the home field AFC Championship game jinx.
                    14. Willie Parker still has never played in a losing playoff game (7-0).

Oh , and I completely agree....

Beating the Pats this year was nice , real nice infact but It would have been much sweeter with Tommy Terrific under center.
