Re: Billick breaks down bad word Lebeau's 3-4

For years, my high school played a 5-2 defense...

The 3-4 D is a variation of the 5-2 where OLBs are substituted for DEs...I believe it was created at Oklahoma U back in the 40s or 50s...Chuck Fairbanks brought the 3-4 alignment to the NFL (New England Patriots) from Oklahoma...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Similar to the 95 Bears and the 46 defense. Same concept.

      :P
Except that #46 Doug Plank was nowhere near as tough as Singletary, Hampton, Dent, McMichael, Marshall, etc.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
