I have WI plates with red characters. I've had them for around 12 years now. Committed to memory from all the years of writing them on boat launch fee envelopes.
Now WI is replacing them with plates that have black characters because many of the plates with red characters have faded (mine haven't...far from it actually!).
I actually had the fleeting thought of getting vanity plates of my current plates so I don't have to memorize new ones! :P
For the record I never would have done that...it was just a thought that flashed through my mind and I thought it was funny.Comment
