Really, I am not trying to be melodramatic, but the fact that
Tomlin has CLEARLY established himself as a leader among men
is all I see in that picture.

On such a grand public stage, a man making millions of dollars and
already the leader on the field, finds so much strength and, yeah
I'll say it, comfort, in his coach that he feels comfortable enough
to kneel down and take this man's hand....

And, for the coach to stand there, steeled and steadfast with the look of man
who has clearly welcomed that role of leader and inspiration, and
hang on to the hand of his million dollar quarterback too?...

I'm not a psychologist, but I have worked in Human Resources for 20
years and I think I know a thing or two about human behaviour, especially
    in the workplace.

    These are guys who-trust-and-believe-in-each-other-beyond-belief.

    I am totally blown away...
No kidding. Just look at Tomlin's expression. He still has his eyes on the prize. Ben looks a little frazzled but finds solace in his coach's outstretched hand. I totally agree with you. This picture symbolizes the trust and faith that the players have in him. I think another poster said it best...Tomlin is way ahead of his time. To be that young, and just get it. I have no words to explain how happy to have him I am.

That aside, its still a funny pic, especially with Trai in the background looking like a child pouting that his dad is holding his brother's hand and not his or something.

Oh, it's got it's humorous side as well!....

Tomlin thinking: "Geez, did he have to hold my hand NOW?..."

Ben thinking: "Okay, now, where's my blankee?"
