Question about the last play...

first off, i think it was a fumble, woodley obviously disrupted his motion back and kurt did not have control going forward...

however...i was thinking. the ball was spotted at the 45 yard line after the arrington catch and run. when woodley caused that fumble, the ball landed prior to reaching the line of scrimmage...by rule, wouldn't that be a fumble or maybe even intentional grounding because it did not go past the line of scrimmage?

They could say it was a 'tipped pass' making the motion of the ball immaterial.
