    Re: where's Sobaka

i heard some people saying today that the giants lost because of eli's poor mechanics. they said he throws ducks as soon as winter rolls around.

    plax didn't matter.

it was all on eli's noodle arm.

on my way back from the burgh NY radio was ripping him (again)

some suggesting putting a roof on the new stadium so the winds wont effect his passes as much...lol

      others calling him "huckelberry finn"

even some suggesting he's more of a middle of the pack QB than a top QB and ouside his 7-8 game great run of last year... he hasn't done well

That can't be. He is better than Ben, no? That's what I heard from, well, every media outlet, so it has to be true.

I miss his incredibly stupid jokes.

He would have started a thread with the title:

Heinz Field Surface to Emulate Norv Turner's Face.

In honor of the playoff game, the Pittsburgh Steelers have announced that the surface of Heinz field will remain crater-filled and uneven in honor of the visiting coach of the Chargers - Norv Turner.

I think Eli is one of the better QB's.. maybe Plex hid his week December arm...

Although I hate how many shots Ben takes.. when I say I want him to throw the ball away I mean like he did in the red zone...

I watched Delhomme, Collins and Eli all throw passes up for grabs to avoid getting hit...
all resulted in INT's... it's one thing to throw it away.. but throwing into coverage with you eyes closed?

A sportswriter in the NY Daily News, writing about Eli, defended him with this absurd comment:

"What does this setback mean for Manning's legacy? It is far too early to judge. He doesn't have to return the Super Bowl ring. He gets to keep that forever, along with the sincere appreciation of Giant fans. He has many contending seasons ahead of him. Manning just needs to win a few more playoff games to move up the list toward Hall of Fame stature."

"Eli Manning" and "Hall of Fame" should not be mentioned in the same sentence. Wtf is that guy smoking?

Yeah, as soon as Brad Johnson is inducted to Canton, they can start working on Eli's bust.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
