    Mike Tomlin will conduct one of the shortest Steelers training camps when his players report to Saint Vincent College July 27.

    Three weeks later, they will have their final practice in Latrobe and head back to Pittsburgh. Their first two practices will be July 28 and the final ones at Saint Vincent Aug. 17.

              Not good if you are a rookie or UDFA trying to make an impact and make the team.

                  Maybe all the OTA's that they have now in the offseason makes it possible from them to accomplish what they want to in a shorter amount of time.

                          I thought there was some formula as to the length of camp based on each individual team... Or is that when it can start?

                                  Plus the new 80 man roster limit means less rest for some....

                                      That's pretty odd, I wonder if that's determined by the league or the Steelers. I'm sure Douchette will ask Tomlin when time permits...
