I was bemoaning yet another Tomlin challenge gaffe when he threw the red flag on that Pickens go ball from Wilson. It looked pretty clear based on the replay that he only got one foot down.
But then I saw a different angle of the catch online today and it does look like Pickens made the catch. At the 7 second mark of the below video it clearly shows him tapping his left toe the moment the ball touches his outstretched right hand. The ball never quivered once it stuck to his velcro-like grip, so it was control from the moment it touched his hand. I mean it's obviously close and the call on the field was no catch, so I can see how in the moment it wouldn't be overturned. But that looks like a catch to me.
Not only do I stand corrected for slamming Tomlin, but wow...George Pickens can make catches that no other human can. And he does it multiple times every year.
