After last year I refuse to be fooled again by another preseason.

I want to be optimistic about our offense, but I fear the Arthur Smith version might only be marginally better than the Matt Canada version.
And that the concerns I had about our QB situation after signing Wilson and Fields may be well-founded.

Can't run an Arthur Smith offense without an OL. Jailbreaking up and down.
According to some sources Dan Moore is now the second worst tackle on the team.

I predicted a while ago that no matter peoples excitement about new offensive pieces, the offense will take time to gel.

We will end the season a MUCH BETTER offensive team than our start.

I predict we will struggle with bad teams early and beat tough teams late.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

            TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

I hope the Arty Smith offense is better. It looks worse so far

what are you talking about? Are you trolling? Have you read any opinions on Pickett recently? Dude is about to be a third stringer.

I'm talking about our QBs from last season being gaslighted as the problem with the offense. When the problem continues to be the Tomlin offense as demonstrated by tonight's poor performance.

If our offense keeps playing like it did tonight, fans will be screaming to bring Kenny back

I think this is what really sucks about how the scgeduke looks.

                        We need a fast start

But I think the OL and QBs need time to gel.

We will need the running game to carry us early I think.

Hopefully the Warren injury isn't bad. Hamstrings can linger

                          UGH. That's all.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

The only real takeaway/concern from this game for me is the offense doesn't really look all that much different than it has since the day Canada was hired. Maybe things improve as the season goes on but obviously this is the kind of offense Tomlin wants. I'm guessing he's looking to win most games 13-10, 17-13, etc.

One other funny thing my dad who only really follows college football was like who is that Wilson?? I replied that's Russell Wilson! He then replied he stinks! Haha, more like the offense stinks...again.

Will take longer than it should playing OL out of position.

maybe Mason, but definitely not Kenny.
