                      The roster should have a spot or three for special teams guys who cover kicks well. It is a skill that not every player has.
                      Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

                      Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

                              I think this also leans Cole Holcomb won't be physically ready to start the season...if he can play at all in 2024

                                          I don't think this move has anything to do with Holcomb, other than maybe having a roster spot to fill if he starts the year on IR or the PUP. He doesn't play special teams and that's all Dirty Red does. I do agree that it turns up the heat on Robinson though. They've only kept more than 5 inside linebackers on the initial roster once in the past 15 years (2021). If Queen, Roberts, Wilson, and Holcomb all get a spot, that means there is likely only one seat left for Red and Robinson. But if Holcom starts the year on IR or the PUP, then maybe both could get a spot on the roster.

                                              We need another ace. The new kickoff rule my be impactfull. Dirty Red fills that role.
