#2 WR solved, Pgh signs Jenkins

On Monday, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced the signing of wide receiver Jaray Jenkins and in a corresponding move, released cornerback Luq Barcoo to make room on the roster. Jenkins was a UDFA in 2023 out of LSU. He spent the preseason with the Jaguars but was re

Problem solved, Jenkins is signed. Pgh leads league in #4-6th WRs signed.

For better or worse, they're going with the 2019/20 Titans offense. If Najee can run stretch zone, he's in for a payday next March.

Nothing to see here. He is a cast off 1 year veteran. He will be lucky to make this team. He is slow.

Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

I’m still holding out hope for JuJu and Chase Claypool to return.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

I hope this is sarcasm here.

Jerry Rice was "slow." (4.7 40.) Jenkins blazed at a 4.6.

In 2020, Henry rushed for over 2000 yards and Brown received for over 1000. We'd GLADLY accept that from our #1 RB and WR: over 3000 yards rushing and receiving. But this just in: Najee is no Henry and never will be. Too slow. He has no where near the Jets of Henry in his prime. Henry ripped off 5.4 ypc, Najee will never see those #s.

Should be able to pick up either after first cuts.

We'll see what a top 3 coach can do with all this talent; at least make the conference championship game.

The Steelers brought in 3 WRs for tryouts. The WR questions should be answered.

Tariq Black - undrafted, with 1 reception for 10 yards in 3 seasons.
Slade Bolton- undrafted, with 0 receptions for 0 yards in 2 seasons.
Greg Ward Jr - undrafte, with 88 receptions for 768 yards in 7 seasons ( last 2 on practice squad).

I hate to admit it but a 36 year old, mentally defective Antonio Brown could probably come into camp and snatch up that #2 WR position in less than a week.

AB could be our #1 blindfolded.

Dude was a beast between the lines.
