They have way more similarities than differences. I thought by now you?d have some semblance of honesty and say yeah I didn?t see that coming correctly. Wow
I repeat, if you think they are the same it shows how little you know.

Now, use the same logic for Kenny.
Well, the Steelers have the first overall pick in this year's draft, so even though they love Kenny, they think that it is time to move on, and in this QB driven league you can't pass up a chance to draft a generational talent.

Wait, I think I made a mistake there somewhere. I'll get back to you.

Fair...probably some combination (QB, scheme, WRs). Like Kenny.

              I get it.

But if they "loved" Fields, he'd still be their QB. I think what it means is that they thought he was a good team mate and he was showing progress. But the opportunity cost of running the experiment of him developing over picking a guy 1 OA (starting the rookie contract clock again) was too high.

Just like I think we were comfortable running Kenny (and Mason?) back to see if Kenny developed. But the opportunity with Wilson was too good to pass up.

In both cases, I think the teams "liked" or "were content with" their QBs. At least until a better opportunity came along.

If either of the teams these guys were on thought they demonstrated they were clear cut NFL starters, their teams wouldn't have felt like the other option was the way to go.

Wisconsin? Absolutely, we dont miss on those guys. Im drafting whoever comes out of there sight unseen.

Maybe yet ANOTHER REASON we grabbed Russ?

I think we have to include C as well, particularly someone who can put the shotgun snap in the QB's hands consistently. For the last few years of his career, we saw Ben save dozens of bad snaps quite smoothly. Even in the last SB, I noticed several bad snaps that the uber athletic, former shortstop Patrick Mahomes easily snag. Unfortunately, not every QB can do this as easily, and I'd love to see someone who routinely puts it on the numbers for the QB to start the play.
