    Pickens is a bum

Overthrown pass not his fault, effort on chasing the defender?

Now look at the blocking effort:

This season is lost, cut this bum and let him rot another locker room. Claypool 2.0.

I called the non blocking by Pickens on the Warren run in the game thread. Saw Pickens just standing there. Hines Ward needs to have a chat with him.

Agreed and for the first time ever can’t wait for the season to end and hope these bums get sent packing for draft picks.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

Crazy how some keep blaming the players instead of Tomlin.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

It's obvious it's both MT and the players. On that pick you can see just how bad our qb's footwork is causing that ball to sail high. IDK what Pickens was thinking once it was intercepted and I'm not sure I want to know.
I'm not sure Pickens issue there is lack of coaching more likely "that's the dude we drafted" and that be it good or in this case bad is on the entire organization.

Blocking was supposed to be one of the things he's good at too.

He checked out weeks ago IMO. After the unfollowing stuff.

We've consistently gotten to high on WRs after their first season.

Maybe he'll check back in with a new OC, but I think he's lost faith in the QBs (liking some king of post about how we need a guy to throw him the ball).

Hard to see this team (at least the O) not melting down the rest of the way this year.

Wonder if Rooney and Tomlin are wondering how much of this could have been avoided if we fired Canada in the off season.

Indy wasted a year because their QB got hurt. We wasted a year because we don't like to pay coordinators to not coach.

Noticed Trubisky poor footwork as well. He was just as bad as Pickett. Happy feet, throwing off his back foot. He has an arm but lacks in other ways.

I saw traits of his yickiness last year and was one of the first saying he was a diva this year, the Steelers do not draft based on character anymore but to be fair nobody does. It?s no coincidence that the league is more centered around me first than team, the tv celebrates guys showboating and running to the endzones to celebrate. It?s just the way things are now, and yes I know it?s always been that way with Deion, Billy white shoes, but it?s crazy now, these guys are about themselves , especially receivers, lineman are the last of team first individuals.

ok sorry, I sound like an old man and i?m only 40. I miss Aaron smith, Keisel, Hampton, Farrior, Polamalu, McFadden, Dawson, Faneca, Decastro, Ward, Miller, Bettis, Haynes, Randle El, Thigpen (pulling out the terrible towel after a sliding td in the WC game), miss all those cast of characters. This is not anywhere near what we all loved. This is a broken down car in the middle of nowhere with fun joyriders laughing as they pass on by. Say what you want about Roethlisberger, but it helps having a tough son of a gun qb too!

Why is it blamed on the OC?
Why isn?t Rooney wondering if the last decade could have been avoided if he just got rid of Tomlin?

Steelers Admit They Have a George Pickens Problem, He Proves them Right
NDIANAPOLIS ? On Saturday, an interview that Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin did with team reporter Bob Labriola was published that touched on, among other things, the attitude and maturity of his second-year wide receiver George Pickens.Tomlin gave an expansive answer on how Pickens? acerbic sideline demeanor and questionable on-field focus level have become problems for the team, and said that he and Pickens had a meeting on that very topic this week. Tomlin described how defenses will come into a game with an agenda to attempt to limit an offensive star for as long as possible to start a game, with the hope that by doing so, they?ll grow frustrated and take themselves out of the game. ?He and I had a great meeting this week,? Tomlin said. ?He needs to understand it is an agenda. It is a game plan. It is something that?s constructed to break him and the unit down. And that?s why it?s so important that he manages the frustration component of it.?

Mike Tomlin having a conversation with Pickens:

After head coach Mike Tomlin took pains to address his behavior on Saturday, Steelers WR George Pickens still doesn't get it.

Pickens needs to go. Sooner the better. Raiders, Bears, Browns - there are always teams looking for a loser. Unload.

Of course earlier in the year Pickens was blocking on runs til the end and getting penalized. Looked like Tomlin on the field was telling him to cool it and not block if he wasn?t in correct position
