    Some perspective

Fans tends to be fanatic and irrational, but think about this

The KC Chiefs with the best QB in the NFL are 7-3

The Pittsburgh Steelers with one of the worst QBs in the NFL are only 1 game back at 6-4.

We hate what we are watching but we probably aren't as bad as some want to portray us. Take the obsession with Fantasy Football stats away, we are probably over-performing. Would any other team with a QB as bad as ours be 6-4?

It is good perspective and I am staying with my prediction below. The only change I see is perhaps we beat the Sea-hags now. This was before Watson and Burrow went down. We have a good opportunity this season, if we can get the offense on-track. When they are on-track they will be fun to watch. The (2) ILBs going down stings a lot.

All is not lost and I think that played a pert in Canada getting the ax now, they saw no improvement and simply could not wait. We still have a good shot and favorable back half of the schedule.

@ Rams - W - I think we come in rested and somewhat healthy and take this one.
Jags - L - They just seem to have our number.
    Titans - W - I agree, we beat them.
Packers - W - Love didn't look that good against the Raiders. The bloom is off his rose.
@Stains - L - They play us tough at the Mistake by the Lake.
@Bengals - L - There offense is getting on track. They take us in the Jungle.
Cardinals - W - We take down Dobbs and Connor.
Patriots - W - Belicheat is finally ripe for the picking. Shame on us if we lose.
@Colts - W - On turf, AR may not play. We take this one.
Bengals - W - Agreed, we beat the bumgals.
@Seahags - L - We drop this looking ahead to the Rats.
@Rats - W - We own the rats and they are out of it by now.

Same outcome, different weekly results, 11-6 AFC North Champs.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

Unfortunately, the records are not the only barometer of quality. Almost every other metric available plus our own eyeballs tell us there is a vast gulf between the Chiefs and Steelers right now. I'm just curious to see if Pickett can show signs of improvement down the stretch. It's the only way this team has a shot of narrowing that gulf.

I don’t think there are any delusions that we are close to the Chiefs in reality, including the OP.

The fact that OUR RECORDS are close DESPITE horrible play at the most important position while they have the leagues BEST PLAYER at that position means our record is an impressive overachievement.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

          TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

I think we can all agree on that. I prefer "impressive overachievement" over "smoke and mirrors".

Heck people can call it smoke and mirrors. Beats losing.

Winning using smoke and mirrors is also called GREAT COACHING.

No of course not. Plenty of other guys prefer dudes too.

Remotely? While she's probably not super-hot in my book, I definitely think she is very attractive. C'mon man!

Possibly! LOL. I mean, that's a pretty strong statement "not remotely attractive". There are many celebrities that I find more attractive than her. I've dated women I find a lot more attractive than her. But "not remotely attractive"?! She's pretty attractive IMO!

Opinions vary, I guess. I wouldn't date her. She just don't appeal to me.

No, I prefer women, no doubt. Just not her.

I kind of like the Christie Brinkley type (who my wife looks a little like).

nope.. she is plain jane to me.

I find it hard to take all these stories on who she dates seriously. The formula works for her star power.

but nah, reminds me of HS when guys would swoon over the skinny girls and we would all ask about the curvy girls and they said they were fat.
