About a year too late but welcome news none the less.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

Art II is the man. He couldn't handle the sh*t show of an offense. That last possession against the Browns was the final straw.

I wonder if this was Art II telling Mike T to fire him or a mutual discussion. Either way it's Art II's responsibility. I'm trying to remember if the Steelers ever fired a OC mid season before.

Read this on another site and thought it could not be true. Unprecedented. Good for ownership to step in and stop the madness.

This makes the Bengals game much more interesting.

I just saw that the Steelers haven’t fired a Coach mid season since 1941.

I am just sitting here watching ESPN and I thought of something.
If this decision was made by Art II unilaterally and thrust on Mike T, this could be the start of a downside to Art's relationship with Mike T.

On ESPN they are talking about trading Bill Belicheck to the Chargers. Art II may have a little of his grandfather in him. ESPN is also talking about Ron Rivera losing his job with the Commanders( Redskins). I've heard they want to go back to the Redskins moniker. Who better to coach the Redskins during this renaming?

We will never get that 2-0 score now.

I believe they did once under Cowher. Back around 2000 or so. Only a few games in to the season too.

Edit- I was thinking of Sherman who finished the 98 season. I thought they canned him part way in.
