I predicted this passing fall off the second DJ got off IR. It was clear as day what would happen. And the coaches are as much to blame as anyone for letting it happen. DJ should never be the first read in this offense, even if he is college open.

Nope. I disagree. Warren has the juice to make the defenses respect the run. Najee is a plodder and isn't getting it done at the level we need. Warren needs to get 20 carries a game and Najee spell him for 5-6 carries. Period. How much more do we need to see to know who's clearly been the most effective runningback?? We've seen enough. And now we have to stop being dillussional because we are in a dire situation going into this next game against the Bengals.

This is a knockout game coming up...............loser of the Bengals/Steelers game is going to be in serious danger of not making the playoffs. We have to have it........all hands-on deck. And best players at the best positions have to start. No more hand holding and coddling because he was a first round pick.

How is it DJ's fault when he has passes sailing over his head? I'm sorry but I'm not ready to just use DJ as the whipping horse again when I see passes sailing over his head, Pickens head, Warren's head in the flat..nope. I'm not going to use DJ as the whipping horse for KP's inept passing skills.

this stat does make it difficult to understand why Warren isn't getting more of the touches.

          especially on our last drive...

The #1 WR can't be a WR who is afraid of contact and makes his money catching 3 to 5 yard hitches.

He wasn't even on the field.

Canada should be fired for that alone.

You're missing the point. DJ should not be the primary target in this offense. It's been most productive when he was out and Pickens was the man. Picken's catch radius is far better than any other receiver on the team. That's what you want for a QB struggling with accuracy. That's the priority that should happen.

                  Gotcha.

Well, DJ is out of here at the end of the year. Then Robinson should be put out on the opposite boundary opposite of GP. Ask Canada/ Tomlin to make that adjustment now. If you want to give KP a bigger catch radius to work with, there's options.

On a team w competent offensive direction & attack, Warren could get 1,500 rushing yds/season

I agree. Warren looked like Eckler out there yesterday.

the first necessary step is to get rid of Matt Canada.

Robinson on the outside? Hell no.. too slow.

We need to get another playmaker. No more possession WR’s on the outside.

I have said it before (it won't happen), but I'd like a new WR group next year and not 30-something has-beens. Draft 3 like the "Young Money" crew.

Wallace, Sanders, and A-B. This current group flat out sucks. I see no-name NFL WRs better.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

I would keep Pickens and maybe Austin to see if the new OC can make him into a weapon. Everyone else can go.

It?s like Tomlin is just invisible in these discussions. That?s your answer. It?s been a long time too. Not just this year.
