I will tell you what, if they draft a QB Round 1 I will leave the board, permanent. If not you leave the board, permanent.

I will tell you something else, when this offense hits its stride it is going to be very fun to watch. These things take time and we may not get there this year and probably need a better OC.

Kenny was the most pro ready because of his long collegiate tenure, but with the lowest ceiling IMO. I don't think he's getting much better.
Kenny's draft year was also one of the worst QB talent wise in a long time

No, he is the one with the QB in the shotgun (multiple times) on 4th and less than a yard. He is the one calling pass plays behind the sticks. He is the one calling endless jet sweeps (although he has gotten away from that recently). He is the one bringing in Najee inside the 5 yard line.

KP8 is the man, right it down.

Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

SEVEN 4th quarter game winning drives in 20 games. You don't move on from a QB when the team has been 12-5 in the last 17 games.

I hate absolutes. If you had said we propbably won't until 4 maybe i'd have an intellectual discussion, but you came in hot like you're the GM, ain't happening! well poo on that.

Notice how i said qb was ARGUABLY the weakest position? That leaves room for debate instead of it's the weakest period.

The weakest position is Center which is a serious problem for a QB.

None of us are GM but the chances of us drafting a QB early is extremely low. No idea why people get upset when we all know how this FO operates.

Not saying Kenny is destined but what makes you think JJ McCarthy whose school was just busted for widespread cheating is HOF capable? Hell, they have yet to play anyone this year.
The backup quarterback or one that is still in college is a Steeler fan's favorite quarterback. Bradshaw was a bum and everyone want Joe Gilliam, Cliff Stout or whoever the backup du jour was at the time. Cam Newton was better than Ben according to some on this forum and Charlie Batch and Byron Leftwich were the saviors. It's how Steeler fans will always be. The starting quarterback has to have thick skin in Pittsburgh. Some unknown quarterback in college is HOF caliber and a guy who has played 2 or 3 games is far better than Pickett. Its crazy but its true.

I'm not sold on Pickett yet but I don't believe we should draft his replacement. Too many qualities to like and tape to prove there is something there with Pickett to give up yet. We shall see.

I don't think the entire organization believes Kenny is their franchise qb. I know not all his teamates love him, Pickens sure doesn't. He feels shackled to a QB that can't throw long. Kenny has been horrible this year. I don't see that changing especially when we play the Bengals, Ravens & Browns with tough defenses. I think QB will be a top priority for us in next years draft. No this offfense is not fun to watch it's painful.

I tend to be slightly on the positive side of the spectrum with KP, but only slightly. If he built on last season, I'd feel much more confident but some of his passes are really bad...and it isn't just one here and there, it is several a game

I know I won't. The Steelers have their man. Give him a bonefide center and a TE and a WR that is consistent. DJ and Pickens both missed TDs last wweek. DJ dropped one and Pickens forgot he was in the pros and not college and only got 1 foot down.

I weould never ask another Steelers fan to permanently leave a Steelers board over who the Steelers decide to draft. That's your issue to deal with. I mean what if we draft a QB in round 2, or trade for a QB to compete with Kenny? You really narrowed your premise on what a top priority means.

AB, Bell and Sanders didn’t like Ben. Plexico left because he hated the offense. Holmes left as well for money. Wallace too.

A WR not liking his QB (mostly because of lack of targets) is nothing new. The only time a WR likes a QB is right after they catch a TD. 2 plays later, they hate them again because they they the ball somewhere else.

Pickens and Pickett were hugging and happy before the TD was overturned. All a sudden Pickens hates his life after DJ catches the game winner.

and you do realize Kenny has thrown game winners in the last 2 minutes vs the Ravens the last 2 times he played a full game. He also threw a game winner vs Cleveland in the 4th quarter last year.

That is the funny thing about people’s frustration with Kenny. They keep
predicting he will lose a bunch of games and get more stubborn after every win.
