    DJ Returning to the Offense

Serious question; is this actually a good thing or bad thing? Pickett has finally started to push the ball down field (avg DOT last game was 9+ yds/att). Started getting comfortable with targeting Robinson on key possession downs. With DJ returning are we going to start seeing the 3 yard routes with no YAC a dozen times a game?

Got real mixed feelings on this one.

Hopefully, DJ just gets Robinson's catches and everything else continues to improve as it has been.... albeit slowly

No DJ, no Freiermuth, and absolutely nothing from Calvin Austin on Sunday yet they still won. I’m thinking that the Steelers mundane offense is about the same no matter who’s playing.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

I think it's good. Because your giving KP a guy who runs those shorter routes well which (in theory) gives KP a guy he can go to , to quickly get the ball out of his hands..if need be. But this requires KP being accurate in his passes as well. Which is one of his big challenges..consistent accuracy in passes.

If DJ returns, Robinson can run the slot more as another sure handed option for KP. Austin and Robinson should be rotating in that slot spot depending on the play called. DJ coming back could be huge as far as possibly sustaining drives.

It should be a good thing but with how misused players are in this offense who knows.

Take this thumbs up Man O Steel . Steelers offense is the most democratic in the NFL... everyone looks equally meh.

Austin was evaluated for concussion. He passed, but there must've been cobwebs hanging around.

Definitely a good thing to have our best route runner on the field. And I think the key to taking better advantage of our talent (apart from having a professional coordinator) is to give Kenny time. When he's feeling confident, he's accurate. When he sees ghosts, he's erratic.

Better and consistent O-line play is the key to a better offense this season.

It is a good thing overall. never can have too many weapons.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

I hope DJ's return sparks our offense

I hope he's been juggling his tennis balls while he's been out

I hope he catches every catchable pass thrown to him

I hope he is through running backward after catches

I hope he figures out how to find the end zone

Looking forward to DJs return. I hope Pickens being our #1 pushes DJ to actually work AFTER catching the ball instead of bitching up.

Problem is the QB seeing him 'wide open'.

Pickett to Pickens had three of the top most improbable completions on the week. Those plays swung the game to PIT's favor.

Don't get distracted with DJ running around like a chicken....

We were both impressed when he did it on his last play on the field…he broke as a result.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:
