Predict the W/L of the last 12 games

Based upon what we have seen in the first quarter I thought it would be fun to predict the last 12 games now that we have a glimpse of our opponents. I'll try to keep this as realistic at possible but it will be hard.. lol.

I will still pick us to win every week in game week prediction threads but in here, this is where fans get to be realistic

@ Rams - L unfortunately I see this as an L. Rams have weapons. We need to get to Stafford early and often to win this one.
Jags - W - while this is a good Jags team they are hot and cold. Maybe they play in the UK full time, they look better over there.
Titans - W - another hot and cold team. We usually play them well.
Packers - W - Love likes to hold the ball which will lead to tons of sacks. He's also inaccurate.
@Stains - W - we have their number. Not worried.
@Bengals - L - still haven't figured out how to beat this team without 5 TO's. I want to believe they just had 1 good game
Cardinals - W - this is another hot and cold team. Its in the Burgh, they will be cold.. lol
Patriots - W - could this be the year we finally beat the Pats? We should win easily, but simply because its Hoodie, who knows
@Colts - L - yeah.. a frustrating loss to another rookie QB. We SHOULD win this game but something tells me we won't
Bengals - W - we finally get a W against the Bengals who just aren't there this year.
    @Seahags - L - Seattle at home is tough.
    @Rats - W - we own this team. It's a mental AND physical thing.

11-6 and making the playoffs. This, of course, if we take care of business during the bye and embrace the rookies and scrap that zone crap all together. Give Pickens more targets, let DJ be the possession WR underneath and for the love of all things sacred, CUT GUNNER!!!

or.. we can start Warren at RB, WR and QB and go 15-2.

On one hand the Steelers schedule isn't looking very hard. On the other hand the Steelers got blown out by a team that had like 3 wins last season and is currently 2-3 so strength of schedule doesn't really seem to matter with this team. The most likely records are probably 8-9 or 9-8, oh the drama unfolding down the stretch to see if Tomlin's streak will continue! I can't wait, so exciting.

The problem with predicting steeler wins is they never do what’s expected. Play lights out against a strong team like the ravens, lay a turd against teams like the Texans. Like you I look at the schedule and some games seem easy to predict. Then I remember it’s the Steelers.

Saving grace for the Steelers is the out of division matchups. No upper tiered teams left on the menu for another beatdown, so yes, they have a real shot of getting in.

And...the Browns play the 49ers this week; and Watson has missed another practice. I don't think he's playing so you can put an "L" in the Browns for this week as well.

The Titans have the ingredients to stop the Run game of the Ravens and force LJ to attempt to pass. But the Ravens have the ingredients to stop the Titans run game too. So I'm hoping for a low scoring Titans victory.

That's pretty optimistic, given what we've seen out of our offense, even if we embrace what you want to embrace and both Watt and Highsmith stay healthy.

If someone forced me to bet $10k on the final record, there's no way I could be that optimistic. I'd guess that Tomlin will eek out another just-barely-winning season at 9-8.

I really, really, really want to see the best evaluation of Kenny for this season (sadly, despite the coordinator). We need to give him the best protection possible. And have all our top receivers on the field.

We need to trade for a veteran O-lineman (preferably center) that can help upgrade that line. We can't keep going on with this type of line play and expect success.

The thing is the Steelers didn't exactly play lights out agains the Ravens, very fortune to win that game. Truth is this team hasn't really looked good in any game tbh, it's kind of a minor miracle the record is 3-2 right now. I think in the past that was more accurate with playing down to bad teams and playing closer with some good teams but now that the Steelers don't have a HOF QB playing anymore the coaching deficiencies are starting to becoming more and more apparent and if Watt goes out at any point this year it'll get real ugly.

That would be a welcome upgrade. But at the same time, I think our line can keep improving without trading. We saw that happen last year as the season went on. It seems to take the line quite a while to start gelling together. Hopefully our line coach is putting in overtime. That line determines how much our offense can improve this season.

A few notable people did, though. Watt. Highsmith. JPJ. Warrren. Pickens. And Kenny at crunch time.

We just need more people to step into lights-out mode more consistently. Particularly the O-line.

@ Rams - W - I think we come in rested and somewhat healthy and take this one.
Jags - L - They just seem to have our number.
                        Titans - W - I agree, we beat them.
Packers - W - Love didn't look that good against the Raiders. The bloom is off his rose.
@Stains - L - They play us tough at the Mistake by the Lake.
@Bengals - L - There offense is getting on track. They take us in the Jungle.
Cardinals - W - We take down Dobbs and Connor.
Patriots - W - Belicheat is finally ripe for the picking. Shame on us if we lose.
@Colts - W - On turf, AR may not play. We take this one.
Bengals - W - Agreed, we beat the bumgals.
@Seahags - L - We drop this looking ahead to the Rats.
@Rats - W - We own the rats and they are out of it by now.

Same outcome, different weekly results, 11-6 AFC North Champs.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

Just by Jones being able to now play, and main his position should make the line better. You would think.

a bit optimistic imo if we don't fix our offense but I'll take it.
