We'll see when they roll out the stats but I counted a handful today. Before the game Pickett was second in the NFL in # of bad throws.

I saw a number of bad throws by KP. But the defense is providing turnovers and kept us in tht game.

You mean the two dropped ravens touchdown and Jackson’s trash pick in the end zone? And harbaughs decision to go for it on 4th and 2 at the end of the 1st half...to keep us in it?

You give a bad team that many opportunities they're going to eventually capitalize.
If the Ravens don't win the division this is the game that they'll be sick thinking about.

-killebrew has been a consistent Steeler for 3 years, very good special teamer
-Tomlin accidentally won a challenge
-porter has won 2 games for us in crunch times, perhaps play him
more than the burnt toast we keep throwing out there
-I posted a thread about it but we can’t make stupid penalties in crunch time like that illegal formation with 50 seconds
- pretty telling that Warren was in there in the crunch time series that scored our td
-play action works especially when you have a decent running game
-very fortunate that our best receivers were ravens today, also fortunate that the center fir Baltimore snapped it instead of taking a timeout at the end of the first half.
-this defense can’t keep
bailing us out

Yes.. those too. Same old Ravens were used to seeing. I believe Lamar is 1-6 or 1-7 against us right? Wonder why? Hmmmmm

Linderbaum said he snapped the ball because he thought a Steeler had jumped into the neutral zone which would have been a free play. But no penalty was called.

1st place heading into the bye. I can't believe it. Outscored on offense this year by like 40 points. Averaging less than 18 points a game.

This is not a formula for long term success. It's similar to that 11-0 start a few years back and then the Redskins exposed the Steelers and they limped in to a one and done.

Happy we're in first. Thrilled to watch the rats go down. But let's not fool ourselves the team (as it currently stands) is a serious threat to the elite in the league.

But it's a long season, they could right the ship. What matters is how you play in Dec/Jan and earning the chance now to be in the tournament. So by that metric - the Steelers are a successful franchise right now.

But dang is it excruciating to witness..........
