    60-13

That's the combined score vs. the Niners or someone from the Niners' coaching tree this year. In reality it could have easily been 80-13.

When the Niners beat them down, many sought comfort in the fact that the Niners are the class of the league and beat many teams like that, others realized that we're basically the same team as last year, but whatever -- one game.

Enter the Texans: rookie head coach, rookie OC, and rookie QB, and it looks almost identical to the Niners game. The Texans are not the Niners. The Ravens beat them down, the Colts and Gardner Minshew rolled up 31 on them.

But matched against the Steelers Friday night coaching staff, it was like taking candy from a baby. They do not have the better roster like the Niners, Bills, or Eagles do, so it's not the talent. Tomlin and Co. were thoroughly outclassed by a bunch of newbies in their first month together.

The Steelers have a bad, bad coaching staff, fam.

This has the makings of being a historically bad Steelers team. And all that may happen is Canada is fired at the end of the year, and they'll promote some other Tomlin lackey. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Also don't forget, Houston was playing like 3rd stringers at every OL position, including Kendrick f'n Green. And they still ran the ball right down our throats and hung 30 on our vaunted D.

The fact that Porter still isn't a starter, and it took an injury to the worst lineman in the league (Moore) to get our 1st rd pick in the game is simply unbelievable.

Maybe we are tanking for a top 5 pick (which would probably be wasted on a blocking TE or a LB/Safety/CB hybrid project)

Just a month ago we were talking about the best offseason in years, maybe the best since 1974. I guess that it didn't matter since we had the exact same coaching staff.

It probably was a good offseason, but when your coach has a hard on for retread veterans instead of high pedigree draft picks this is what you get. Patrick Peterson should be a nickel back, and don't even get me started on Levi Wallace.

This is an organizational flaw I point out every offseason -- they'd rather spend their money on quantity, not quality, and every year just prior to the draft the Steelers state-run media claims they have "filled all their holes" and can draft "best player available".

And then after a year or two, they strip off those retreads and glue on more.

Houston was winless last year at home. And they were winless this year until Tomlin came to town. Go figure.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

We are taking it in ways I've never seen before. This is going to be a historically bad offensive Steeler team.

the injury to the Trice didn't help... at one point in camp, seems he was getting more hype than JPJ and I had visions of a great, young tandem taking over by season's end...

Tomlin is lucky to be 2-2
0-4. Is where we should be. Several fluke defensive scores and lots of turnovers resulted in the wins.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

But I was told here that a 'win is a win', style points don't count, etc etc
