    Is Pittsburgh, San Fran East?

I have heard a number of folks mention today how many San Fran fans were at the game yesterday.

I saw some on tv, but was their fan turn out like a Steeler road game turn out? Some people seem to be exaggerating taking about a complete take over. Maybe it seemed that way when the Steelers fans gave up and left after halftime to beat traffic???

Just curious what the turn out was according to anyone that was there.

It could be (and I heard that, too), but there is a large contingent of 49ers fans in the area due to the DeBartolo connection as well.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

Yes, I was very surprised at the number of 49er fans in attendance. A lot more than one would expect.
They could be heard pretty loud around the middle of the 4th quarter. As Steeler fans got quiet and were leaving the stadium.
It was a peaceful environment from what I saw. Not like when the Browns or Ravens come to town.

No way was it a complete takeover. Nothing like the way we took over the stadium in Jacksonville several years ago,

        How embarrassing.
Of course ticket money is ticket money. Rooney haas his seats filled either way.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

Would that not be more on Pittsburgh fans for either not buying tickets or selling them to San Fran on the secondary market?
