They all walk to the lockerroom, guys get a snack, hydrate, go to the bathroom, and then have a couple minutes left before walking back. Players have talked about this before.

Adjustments are made throughout the game.
Or at least they should be.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

I didn?t notice anything different between the halfs.
Because the Niner defense dominated the Steeler offense both halves. Hard to tell if anything changed when everything gets blown up and getting a 1st down was a big deal.

Well, they had plenty of opportunities to practice them today.

I'm concerned with whether we make pre-game adjustments. Do we actually game-plan much? Or do we just, "do what we do"?

I admit that I'm still in a bad state of mind after a loss like that but such an abysmal display on opening day, at home with months to game-plan is just infuriating. Hopefully, we've forgotten all about this pathetic loss in a few weeks and we start gelling as a team and stringing some wins together.

The planning for the game ( strategy ) and the adjustments at half time ( tactics ) were lacking. They are Tomlin weaknesses.

How can another team travel 2,000 + miles, stay focused, execute well, and destroy us in our house?

Answer best given... They have a good general better known in football as a head coach.

Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

Talking about this on The Fan Morning Show, now -- Dorin just agreed with a caller who said we don't game plan against the opponents' specific strengths and weaknesses - we "do what we do".

Been saying this for a while. This is why our offense is so easy to defend, only now we don't have Ben to improvise and find AB running off script to bail them out.

what is SF’s weakness on defense?

Apparently nothing. But still, you see great defenses get exposed from time to time. You see someone playing aggressively and find a way to take advantage of it, like a screen thrown in the direction of a blitzer. Something.

My biggest concern with this offense the past two years has been Canada. And it's still my biggest concern.

I'm surprised we scored at all yesterday. It seemed like the 49'ers went to a prevent defense for some reason on that last drive of the first half.

Probably corner, I agree not a lot to choose from, but it won't change no matter the opponent.
