I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.
I love how we traded Green to the Texans, then pick up a former all-pro they let go. Some very deft maneuvering by the Steelers brass to get to the final 53.
Great acquisition Khanman. If I ever run into him, I'm going blow him. Just kidding. Seriously this team is going to have an amazing season. I can feel it. Well done Khan!
So the Texans cut him basically because he was ?too old?at 28. Wow. Started 25 games the last 2 years with 5 ints.
Yep. They have some good young players they like, and they figured they'd drop the higher salary player and veteran. They probably want to get a higher draft position next year as well.
He has position flexibility, and he fits what the Steelers need here. This isn't like signing a 33 year old and trying to squeeze whatever is left out of him. This is a player that should still have some meat on the tread.
Seriously, is it just me or does this team seem to be trying to set itself up for a playoff run?
Playoffs? Playoffs? You talkin about playoffs?
